Taster workshop - Introduction to Mandarin and Chinese culture

We are excited to introduce one of our Future Festival taster workshops, will be delivered by the Oxbridge Group team who run both Oxbridge Guardians (Guardianship for Chinese students in the UK) and LovVol (volunteering in China for British university students).

Teresa and Helen from their team will run a taster session introducing you to Mandarin and Chinese culture, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about China.

The session will cover Chinese life, culture and language. This basic introduction will give you an insight into China and the basics you need to know to avoid making any cultural mistakes and to make the best first impression. You will learn some basic phrases about how to introduce yourself and how to greet someone!

Future Foundations works closely with both organisations to run Summer programmes for Chinese students in China and we share our offices at the Devas Club with the Oxbridge Group. Lina Akbar and Liv Hildebrand have worked for FF in China to run summer schools for us in partnership with LovVol. We have big plans for future programmes, so watch this space for announcements.

**If you are interested in working or volunteering for LovVol or Future Foundations in China we encourage you to attend this session!**

More workshops topics will be announced soon!
